    The actual tile is great. A slight surface texture and color variation from tile to tile that really mimics actual slate pretty well. They are well gauged to accept a small (1/8") grout line despite being a 12x24 tile. No issues with lippage at all on a 50% bond pattern (herringbone).

    I did have a poor experience buying from Arbor-Home. The tiles showed up loose in a box with just some brown paper packaging. Several were broken. After 3 months they still hadnt refunded me for the broken tiles or shipped any replacements. I had to file a complaint with the BBB which they also havent responded to.
